Partnership for the Future Endowment
& Capital Campaign - A Huge Success!
Union County College Foundation and Union County College's historic
and successful Capital Campaign - Partnership
for the Future ended on December 31, 2006. The Campaign goal
of $7,500,000 has been met and exceeded.
The Campaign was undertaken to address the challenges of increasing
enrollments, growing student financial needs that could not be met,
and the necessity to provide the planned new Elizabeth campus building
with state-of-the-art equipment.
Mr.
Victor M. Richel, Chairman of the Union County College Board of
Trustees, College Governor and former Vice Chairman of Independence
Community Bank, serves as Chairman of the Partnership
for the Future Campaign. He launched the public phase of
the campaign at the UCC Foundation's Gala on October 25, 2003 with the
exciting announcement that more than $3,100,000 million dollars had
been raised toward the campaign goal.
Campaign
fundraising will provide:
-
$2,500,000
to equip a new
building that will more than double the existing space at the
Elizabeth campus - UCC's most rapidly growing campus - and provide
state-of-the-art computer labs, classrooms and a media center for
a vibrant center of learning.
With
a growing student body, enviable institutional stability, and an
outstanding record of serving the higher education needs of the
community since 1933, Union County College and the UCC Foundation are
proud and pleased to successfully complete the Partnership
for the Future Campaign, thereby assuring that a lasting
legacy will be left to meet future student needs.
Union
County College and the
UCC Foundation
salute all the donors to the
Partnership for the Future
Endowment & Capital Campaign.
THANK YOU!!
