If you are the recipient of a scholarship, a letter thanking the
donor is a must. Below are some tips that can help with the process.
• Date your letter
• Use “Dear NAME OF SCHOLARSHIP donor,” OR mention
the scholarship name in the text of the letter.
• Be sincere in saying “thank you”
• Mention your major and favorite subject or classes
• Mention your personal goals
• Mention your Union County College activities
• Share what this help means to you
• End with “Sincerely” and your whole name
